Position Summary
The RN Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Long-Term CareWorks (LTCW), ensures compliance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing's Division 61 standards. This role involves managing a Board-approved curriculum, supervising instructional staff, coordinating classroom and clinical activities, and ensuring that clinical environments meet educational standards. Responsibilities include ensuring student eligibility (e.g., criminal history checks), compliance with licensing standards, and submitting required reports to the Board. The Program Manager is crucial in meeting regulatory requirements while aligning the program with workforce development needs and RISE Partnership’s mission.
Essential Functions:
- Recruit, supervise, and evaluate instructional staff to meet program goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the daily operations of the CNA training program, in cooperation with the Director of LTCW, to ensure alignment with program goals and organizational values.
- Collaborate with the Director of LTCW to develop and evaluate training and continuing education courses for CNA workers.
- Lead communication with internal staff, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Collaborate on curriculum development and approval processes with internal and external partners.
- Implement best practices and continuously improve internal systems and processes.
- Manage project timelines and ensure program activities meet performance goals.
- Coordinate classroom, lab, and clinical sites to create optimal learning environments.
- Ensure students meet eligibility requirements, including criminal history checks, for clinical experiences.
- Develop and implement evaluation plans using qualitative and quantitative benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with Board standards and submit necessary reports and program data.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (preferred).
- At least two years of RN experience, including one year of direct care.
- One year of experience in a Long-Term Care environment.
- Completion of a course on teaching adults or one year of experience teaching adults in nursing education, staff development, or nurse administration.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including implementation and assessment.
- Minimum of 3+ years in program management, preferably in workforce development or adult education.
- Proven experience supervising staff and achieving program goals.
- Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Bilingual fluency and bicultural training experience are a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise Nurse Aide Instructors.
Working Conditions:
