Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Description

  1. Technical Support:

    • Provide first-line support for financial systems, applications, and platforms, troubleshooting technical issues related to finance operations.
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to accounting software, financial databases, ERP systems, and related tools.
    • Respond to technical inquiries from internal users regarding software functionality, configurations, and integrations.
  2. System Maintenance and Upgrades:

    • Monitor and maintain the functionality of financial systems to ensure they are running efficiently.
    • Assist with software upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
    • Coordinate with the IT team to schedule system down times and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  3. System Implementation and Integration:

    • Collaborate with finance and IT teams during the implementation of new financial systems and software.
    • Assist with the integration of third-party financial systems with internal software tools, ensuring data accuracy and seamless operations.
    • Conduct system testing and ensure compatibility with existing applications.
  4. Data Management and Reporting:

    • Support data migration efforts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
    • Assist in the preparation and generation of standard financial reports from various systems.
    • Provide insights into financial data issues and recommend solutions for improvement.
  5. User Training and Documentation:

    • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users on finance-related applications and systems.
    • Create and maintain user guides, documentation, and knowledge base articles for finance software and system processes.
    • Provide ongoing support for users to troubleshoot and resolve operational and technical challenges.
  6. Compliance and Security:

    • Ensure that financial systems comply with internal security standards and external regulatory requirements.
    • Work with auditors and security teams to maintain data privacy and security.
    • Assist with system access management, ensuring the correct roles and permissions are in place.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with finance, accounting, and other relevant teams to identify system needs, gather requirements, and implement solutions.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for troubleshooting, updates, and new releases of financial applications.
  8. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in financial software and systems to suggest improvements.
    • Identify opportunities to automate or optimize financial workflows and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a finance-related technical support role.
    • Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
    • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong troubleshooting skills with an understanding of financial processes and systems.
    • Knowledge of SQL and databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other finance-related tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills to liaise between finance and technical teams.
    • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.


Requirements
Mandatory skills
• Support the day-to-day maintenance and configuration of the Oracle Hyperion Planning Suite of products. • Trouble shooting and resolution of Hyperion Planning incidents. • Manage systems integrations to/from Hyperion Planning • Drive efficiency in FP&A processes by automating manual tasks and processes globally. • Perform triaging, resolve tickets, and manage SLAs by implement break-fixes. • Implement permanent solution by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the incidents. • Review existing solutions, identify opportunities for continuous improvements, and perform enhancements to systems. • Must be willing to work in shifts, provide hand-over to global teams, and provide on-call support during off-business hours.

Nice to have skills Key Skills and Experience: 3 - 7 years of relevant experience with following skillsets • Strong proficiency and experience working with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Hyperion Assesses • Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for large scale organizations. • Experience with data integration/interfacing from other enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, JD Edwards, Workday,) and/or data warehouses • Experience working in Managed services environment providing application support, with strong knowledge on IT Service Management (ITSM) process including incident, request, and problem management. • Experience working with cross functional teams.
