Job description

Guidewire is seeking a motivated and talented Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security team. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our SSO platform, DLP system, and other IAM tools. Your primary responsibilities will include working with application owners to ensure our SSO integrations are meeting the highest possible security standards, assisting with reviewing DLP policies and alert rules, and creating and providing reports to enhance the functionality and efficiency of our IAM infrastructure in support of internal stakeholders at Guidewire.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IAM team members to understand requirements and contribute to the development of IAM solutions.
  • Coordinate and perform periodic reviews with application owners regarding status of their applications and their security capabilities
  • Support daily operations of Okta Workforce SSO platform
  • Assist with DLP policy and rule reviews
  • Scripting and coding to automate IAM processes and tasks, utilizing languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Create and maintain documentation for application and system configurations.
  • Generate reports and analytics to provide insights into IAM operations and compliance status.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IAM systems and integrations

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience supporting an SSO platform (Okta, Ping, ADFS, etc.)Someone who has an analytical mindset.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Basic scripting skills in Powershell, Python, or JavaScript

  • Good to have:
  • Experience with DLP tools is a plus
  • Experience with AWS Identity Center, IAM roles is a plus
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts and technologies.
