We invite a Game Mathematician to join the VeliPlay product team.

Housed within the innovative umbrella of VeliTech, VeliPlay is our dedicated game development studio specialising in crafting exceptional crash games and more. We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge games that engage players with outstanding mechanics and envelop them in rich, immersive narratives.

In this role, you will:
  • Design and develop mathematical models for crash games, slot machines, table games, and other iGaming products
  • Create algorithms to define game logic, payouts, probability structures, and player interactions
  • Collaborate with game designers to transform creative concepts into mathematical frameworks
  • Calculate key metrics such as RTP (Return to Player), hit frequency, volatility, and probabilities
  • Perform simulations, including Monte Carlo tests, to ensure game outcome accuracy
  • Ensure all mathematical models comply with relevant gaming regulations
  • Prepare technical documentation and support certification processes for regulatory approval
  • Analyze player behaviour and game performance data to refine and optimize models
  • Work closely with developers and artists to ensure seamless integration of math models into games
  • Communicate complex mathematical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders
  • Test, debug, and validate game logic and mathematical implementations
  • Conduct playtesting to ensure games meet player expectations and business objectives
  • Stay informed about industry trends and develop innovative mathematical models to keep products competitive
Skills and experience you will need:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in calculus, probability theory, and cryptography
  • Proven experience as a Game Mathematician or in a similar role, preferably within the casino or gaming industry
  • Expertise in crash games, high-intensity game formats, and casino game mechanics, including slots and progressive jackpots
  • Advanced knowledge of probability, combinatorics, and calculus
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R for modelling and simulations.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic tools and techniques for secure gameplay
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical team members
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in gaming mathematics
  • Familiarity with player behaviour analysis, predictive modelling, and cryptographic validation
