THE ROLE
We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Analyst, Growth Finance (EU) based in Ireland, to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Growth Finance and FP&A, you will have direct responsibility for preparation of budget and forecasts for the assigned geographies, working closely with the European (EU) teams in monitoring performance and analysing data to yield actionable insights that will drive performance for the EU region.
The Growth Finance team leads the development of the overall budget, rolling forecast, mid- to long-range planning, and financial assessment of investment opportunities. This role will provide dedicated financial support to the Growth Marketing teams, own forecasting/reporting of key KPIs and monthly variance reporting. This role will partner closely with the members of the Marketing, Analytics and the broader Finance teams to gain key inputs and provide reporting and analytics to support scalable business growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Preparation of the European regional budgets from the ground up, partnering with business leaders across customer acquisition and retention.
- Analyze data to develop actionable insights to drive better acquisition and retention performance in partnership with the European leadership team.
- Prepare all materials for the performance management processes like the Weekly Business Review, Monthly Business Review and Quarterly Business Review.
- Contribute to the core Growth Finance planning tools including the EU revenue model, retention model, acquisition and retention dashboards.
- Help build and maintain detailed and dynamic financial models to inform monthly forecasts, budgeting/planning across the P&L, investment evaluation and prioritization, and operational decision-making.
- Partner & support the European Business team by tracking business performance, provide financial modeling support and identifying risks and opportunities to our financial outlook to promote growth.
- Analyze operational and analytical processes connected to each accounting period close, including accruals, variance analysis, management reporting, and/or model recalibrations as necessary.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and deep dive performance reviews to improve the accuracy of our forecasting.
- Partner with FP&A teammates to provide data for the Company consolidated model as well as support in building monthly and quarterly leadership presentations.
- Proactively research and resolve financial inquiries, issues and ad-hoc requests as needed.
- Look to automate, streamline and constantly improve all FP&A processes.
- Support other areas of the Finance team with financial forecasting when needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of prior experience in Finance with an Ecommerce business and FP&A environment (prior experience at a high-growth start-up is a plus).
- Good grasp of key Growth Finance concepts such as conversion funnel, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC and more.
- Financial modeling skills and a very high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets with a deep understanding of model architecture, formula efficiency, and pivot tables.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP and/or Adaptive is highly preferred and experience with Finance planning tools is a plus
- Knowledge in all things MS Office and Google Suite

- Familiarity with EU business operations and specific local rules.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is €64,800.00 - €80,550.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
