Key Position Details:

**Candidate must live within commuting distance of the Allina Commons Mpls, MN.**

Job Description:

Provides support and coordinates the new hire processes to ensure a smooth, positive and seamless candidate and hiring leader experience.

Principle Responsibilities

  • New Hire On-boarding
    • Assists with pre-employment checks related to: Background checks, DHS, education, license, certification, and driver’s license verification.
    • Answers and routes responses from candidates regarding hiring status.
    • Compiles metrics and reporting data for statistical reporting as well as preparing and distributing reports.
    • Utilizes applicant tracking and Human Resources systems to process new hire pre-employment requirements.
    • Periodically run reports and audits of recruitment transactions to ensure all required compliance and job description standards are met.
    • Creates reports utilizing internal systems and programs.
    • Communicates with new hire and transfer employees regarding outstanding pre-employment checks.
    • Liaison to external vendors in support of pre-employment screening process.
    • Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to understand recruitment needs and onboarding priorities.
    • Registers new hires for orientation and trainings.
    • Organize and prepares new employee orientation.
    • Ensures that all new hire and transfer information is complete, tracked and scanned.
    • Assists with HR Data Management transactions related to candidate and temporary worker record terminations, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
    • Processes expenses and invoices with external vendors and accounts payable.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required principle competencies as listed on the job description
  • 1+ year administrative experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year previous recruiter assistant or recruitment related experience
