Organize, coordinate, and supervise a comprehensive investigations and physical security program to protect Magellan assets, stockholders interests and faith, member and provider information, and provide a safe working environment for employees.
- Manages and implements programs to mitigate Magellan security risks.
- Develops and enhances corporate security programs.
- Implements and enforces policies that provide guiding principles for the protection of corporate assets, stockholders faith, member, provider and employee information.
- Implements and operates corporate physical security program including drafting and evaluating all policies and procedures, as required.
- Identifies security risks, analyze those risks and specify system requirements and procedural measures to ensure the protection of company assets.
- Conducts physical security surveys and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security practices.
- Prepares contract specifications, establish performance standards and instructions and administer contracts for physical security systems.
- Acts as the Assistant Facility Security Officer for all government contracts involving access to classified national security information.
- Facilitates and supports the acquisition of new contracts requiring access to classified information.
- Manages federal security regulations that relate to company operations.
- Coordinates with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
- Manages staff training for security and manage resources to enhance security awareness.
- Manages the proposal response function for the Security Department.
- Reviews proposal responses from subordinates and manage customer security audits.

15+ years experience of experience with large publicly owned or government organizations.
Experience in facility security assessments, video surveillance, building security planning, project management, government security.
Knowledge of a variety of state-of-the-art physical security equipment and devices for planning and implementing protective methods and security procedures.
