HealthEquity is hiring a Sr. Identity Access Management (IAM) Security Analyst to join us in the maturation of our access administration practices. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our IAM framework, ensuring that our systems and data are secured against unauthorized access. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing access needs, automating access administration, improving IAM processes, and ensuring the implementation of IAM best practices across the organization.

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Integrate new and existing applications with current IAM platform for access provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Gather requirements and facilitate discussions to implement and automate RBAC processes.
  • Provide IAM process guidance and requirements, create IAM solutions, collaborate with business partners and engineers, and create roles for application onboarding.
  • Support and follow Identity and Access Management principals.
  • Partner with the User Access Certification & Governance team when needed, which may include providing audit evidence.
  • Reconcile and assess the quality of access administration tasks completed by the team.
  • Facilitate collaboration and work with multi-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Administer and maintain IAM technologies such as privileged access management (PAM), and identity governance tools.
  • Create process documentation to manage access administration processes for centralized applications.

What you will need to be successful

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or related fields in information security.
  • Strong understanding of IAM frameworks, best practices, and governance models (e.g., RBAC, ABAC).
  • Technical exposure to IAM tool suites such as SailPoint IdentityNow, NERM, and BeyondTrust.
  • Familiarity with cloud IAM solutions (e.g., EntraID, GCP, AWS).
  • Experience with automation tools for IAM processes.
  • Understanding of API-based integrations for IAM tools.
  • Extensive experience in access governance across large organizational networks, including third-party entities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and anomalies in IAM data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certified Identity Access Manager (CIAM) or similar certification preferred
  • Familiarity with IAM protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.

Salary Range: $33.65 To $46.00 / hour Benefits & Perks:

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:
