Your Role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist with Daybreak Health, you will:

  • Provide Evidence-Based Teletherapy: Deliver virtual therapy sessions using modalities like CBT, DBT, and other proven interventions tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with Care Teams: Work alongside school counselors, teachers, and families to create a holistic support system for each student.
  • Focus on Outcomes: Utilize our tools and resources to track progress and adjust treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for your clients.
  • Maintain Clinical Documentation: Keep accurate and timely records using our secure EHR system.
  • Engage in Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay at the forefront of youth mental health care.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications:

    • Active, independent clinical license in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist).

    • Minimum of 1 year experience providing therapy to children or adolescents.
    • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work during peak demand times (afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends).
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bilingual Ability: Fluency in Spanish or other languages.
    • Specialized Training: Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar therapeutic modalities.
    • Educational Experience: Background in school settings or working closely with educational institutions.
    • Credentialing: Active NPI number and CAQH profile.
