Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue Purchase Orders: Generate supplier purchase orders using requisitions from MRP and planning departments.

  • Supplier Coordination: Follow up on delivery confirmations and ensure compliance.

  • Inventory Management: Manage and analyze component inventories and participate in inventory counts.

  • Price Optimization: Validate and optimize purchase prices and prepare quotation requests.

  • Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement of procedures and processes.

  • Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain supplier relationships and qualify suppliers in SAP ARIBA.

  • Problem Resolution: Help resolve supplier quality issues and support the SCM function in negotiating pricing.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Certificate in procurement, logistics, management, or a related field.

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of SAP software is an asset.

  • Proficiency in the Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Advanced proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team player mindset.
