You’ll be working on a hybrid basis from one of our Mexico offices or 100% remotely in Mexico if not located near an office.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with international and national data protection regulations, standards, and HERE’s internal policies, with a primary focus on the U.S. privacy regulations. You will play a key role in identifying privacy risks, developing processes, managing compliance evidence, and supporting stakeholders in product development and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the global privacy program in collaboration with the HERE Privacy Team and Global Privacy Counsel.
  • Support the creation and execution of privacy policies, notices, standards, and procedures.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and approve data processing agreements and customer-facing documentation.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, particularly in the Americas, and assess their impact on HERE's business.
  • Integrate privacy by design and default into HERE products, supporting development teams.
  • Identify and address gaps in existing privacy policies and processes.
  • Liaise with external advisors, legal counsel, and regulatory authorities on privacy matters.
  • Promote global privacy awareness and conduct training for HERE personnel.
Who are you?:

  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in privacy protection, ideally in a technology-focused role.
  • Knowledge of U.S. privacy laws, GDPR, and other major privacy regulations.
  • Legal degree needed
  • Experience implementing privacy programs and developing solutions for complex privacy issues.
  • Excellent writing and document drafting skills.
