Why Join Us

We push the limits of what is possible every day. We are a down to earth bunch. We have fun and are super dedicated. What motivates us to get out of bed every morning? The challenge to develop and create the world's best events management platform.

Join our team of dedicated professionals, and together, let's redefine the possibilities of event management, and leave a dent in the event tech industry.

The Head of Sales Opportunity

As Head of Sales for the U.S. market, you will lead revenue growth, expand market share, and execute sales strategies that align with our global business objectives. You will be responsible for building and managing a high-performance sales team, driving customer acquisition, and developing key strategic partnerships to position EventsAir as the leader in event technology across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that target U.S. market growth, aligning with overall global objectives. Identify and pursue new opportunities to accelerate growth in key verticals such as corporate events, associations, government, and universities.
  • Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a dynamic sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Set clear KPIs and manage performance through regular reviews, coaching, and development initiatives.
  • Revenue Growth:
Own and drive the revenue targets for the U.S. region by executing data-driven sales strategies. Identify and engage new enterprise clients while nurturing relationships with existing customers to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Market Penetration:
Leverage your knowledge of the U.S. event-tech or SaaS landscape to build a robust pipeline. Lead market research efforts to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Act as the face of the brand in client interactions, negotiations, and presentations to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Collaboration Across Functions:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives. Provide market insights that drive product enhancements and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
Continuously evaluate and improve sales operations, leveraging CRM systems and other tools to streamline workflows and enhance team efficiency. Implement new sales technologies and tools to maximize productivity.
  • Contract Negotiation & Deal Closing:
Lead contract negotiations with enterprise clients, ensuring successful deal closure that aligns with the company’s profitability and long-term goals.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
Analyze and present sales performance data to senior leadership, making strategic recommendations based on insights. Use data to inform sales forecasts, territory planning, and budget allocation.
  • Brand Representation:
Represent EventsAir at U.S. industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Promote the company’s brand and values, driving awareness and positioning EventsAir as a top provider of event management software.
  • Risk & Compliance:
Identify potential risks in the U.S. market and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure sales activities comply with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.

What Do You Need To Be Considered:

  • 10 years+ as a Sales Leader in event tech or related technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role within B2B SaaS, preferably in the event-tech or related technology sectors and you are recognized as an industry leader.
  • Your skills mean you directly impact market acceptance of a product or service and help to determine company strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and lead successful sales teams in the U.S. market.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. event industry landscape, with established relationships in the sector (preferred). Your in-depth knowledge is used to anticipate complex analytical issues with high impact on the company and business trajectory before they occur.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven approach to sales management, with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • You will be located in the CST, PST, OR MDT/MST time zones, anyone outside of those time zones will not be considered.

Please note the salary bracket for this role is USD122,400 - 149,600 and this will depend on experience.

What To Expect?

  • Cross collaboration with other teams in the US and across our other regions from success to Product
  • Companywide bi-weekly all hands with other regions (where time zones permit) to understand what is happening around the business
  •  Remote high fives and throwing lots of fun memes around!

What Will You Benefit From If You Become An Airstar?

  • Fantastic flexibility. We offer hybrid working to all employees regardless of role or level! Need to do the school drop off or pick- no problem, want to attend that school dance show where your kid’s starring center stage- no worries.
  • We don’t like burn out. We offer 3 extra days of annual leave to encourage downtime over the Christmas period and help bridge the gap between the public holidays; to spend time with family and friends. We also offer our US employees the same annual leave allowances that the rest of our locations receive, which is 4 weeks of annual leave on top of the 3 extra days annual leave!
  • Be a champion. We love to champion and promote causes close to our heart. Think: International Women’s Day, R U OKAY? And many more awesome causes.
  • Grow through mobility! Apply for side steps, up steps and secondments through different teams when role needs arise internally!
  • Learn and develop. Use your personal L&D budget towards a course, a conference or something to upskill yourself in your current role.

  • Enjoy parenting! Use the extra maternity and paternity leave we offer on top of your statutory allowances to spend important time with your new family. Equally, if something unfortunate occurs use our miscarriage & still birth leave policy to assist in the transitional period you are both going through.
  • Struggling? Reach out to our Employee Assistance Program offered to all employees and lock in a counselling session with an expert for solid advice.
  • Recognize and be rewarded. Take part in our recognition program where you can earn points and vouchers for valuable work across your role and the business.
  • Remote AirStars. We understand you can't take part in the Head Office socials we hold in person and so we do ensure we send you shopping vouchers to ensure you are also receiving the recognition that the rest of the business receives through socials, but yours is in voucher form!
  • 401K. We do offer enrollment into 401k for our US employees should this be something you wish to take part in.
  • Be Healthy. Although we are an Australian company, we do provide our US Employees with their health benefit insurance that you would receive from a US employer.
