About the Role

A small independent animation studio is seeking a Junior Animator for a brief but emotionally nuanced animated scene. The project is part of an original story that explores themes of family and survival in a post-apocalyptic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging animator to work on a character-driven narrative scene.

Responsibilities:

• Animate a poignant scene featuring character interaction and environmental elements
• Create fluid character movements that convey emotional depth
• Incorporate weather effects (sandstorm) into the animation
• Work with detailed character designs and specific visual requirements

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating strong character animation skills
• Experience with emotional storytelling through animation
• Ability to animate weather effects and environmental elements
• Proficiency in standard animation software
• Strong attention to detail, particularly for character features
