Key Requirements:

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be expected to build knowledge and support the team, as well as participate in problem-solving discussions.

  • Expert proficiency in Perl Scripts is required.
  • Bash Scripting proficiency is recommended, along with Advanced proficiency in Design & Build Enablement and Build Management.
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Unix/Linux OS', HP-UX, RedHat Enterprise Linux preferred.
  • Expertise with complex shell, perl scripting including maintenance of existing scripts for error handling and modifications to fulfill business requirements.
  • Perform system administration functions in the ActiveBatch job scheduling applications or have experience working with similar enterprise scheduling applications like Redwood, Autosys or Control-M.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Deltek, Oracle EBS and their common business processes.
  • Familiar or experienced in Middleware products such as Microsoft Biztalk, SAP PI/PO or Mulesoft.
  • Familiar with ETL, Business Warehouse processes and related software like SAP Data Services, SAP BW.
  • Experience with general IT/Cybersecurity concepts including zero trust model.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and Infrastructure team members to troubleshoot existing or define new process requests.
  • Pursue opportunities to streamline job request, provisioning and support processes.
  • Ability to participate in scheduling system software upgrades and patching.
  • Support internal audit efforts for quarterly and yearly reviews.
  • Complete process requests in coordination with Business Analysts following SDLC or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with FTP, SSH and other common means of interacting with other internal, external systems.
  • Ability to identify and implement efficiencies related to job function or customer defined procedures.
  • Ensure ITSM tickets are processed according to defined SLA's.
  • Successfully work in a cross functional environment to support process requests and troubleshoot failures with IT Infrastructure groups.
  • Take part in On-Call support rotation for night and weekend support of process failures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working with Perl Scripts.
  • High School Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have a minimum 6 years work experience)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
