Gateway Rehab Center is seeking an innovative and dynamic Clinical Director of Telehealth to shape and expand our telehealth care programs. As a visionary leader, you will leverage innovative technology to enhance access to life-changing treatment, making a profound impact on our patients and communities.  


This position supports the Executive Director of Telehealth and GRC’s providers and stakeholders to understand the current telemedicine context and align the overall executive strategy with the telemedicine strategy, as well as align the organization towards a common vision and Hope from Home for telemedicine services.  


This position will support current services for telehealth inpatient and outpatient programs focusing on clinical compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and implements Gateway Telehealth policies and procedures. 
  • Develops, plans, and implements procedures to assess and improve the quality of the Telehealth provider treatment programs. 
  • Monitors Telehealth census daily with the goal of meeting or exceeding average daily census projections. 
  • Monitors average length of stay, Psych and MOUD monthly referrals with the goal of meeting or exceeding KVI projections for services and billable units.  
  • Monitors transfer rates to outpatient Telehealth services.  
  • Prepares monthly Telehealth patient and provider utilization and participation reports.  
  • Monitors Telehealth IOP, OP, MOUD and Psych TH services. Ensuring coverage and services completed.  
  • Supports Executive Director Telehealth trainings and GRC’s changes in policies, documentation procedures, and other areas related to the achievement/advancement of Telehealth goals and objectives. 
  • Maintains a current knowledge of the Telehealth Legislation, Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs licensing, CARF accreditation, SAMSHA and OMHSAS telehealth polices and alerts.  
  • Ensures the programs are ready for state licensing, county monitoring, and CARF visits. 
  • Monitors the condition of Reports in m.Care platform and daily census of productivity. 
  • Communicates appropriately with other Gateway departments. 
  • Meets with direct supervisee(s) at least 2 times a month for Telehealth provider meetings.?  
  • Responds promptly to complaints from patients and family members. Refers complaints from referral sources and the community to the Executive Director or Chief Medical Officer of telehealth  
  • Provides provider consultation about patient care, as necessary. 
  • Works with Digital Coordinator pertaining to the patient’s user experience (UX), patient engagement and compliance. 
  • Completes appropriate staff performance Telehealth evaluations during the month they are due. 
  • Completes annual staff training calendars for appropriate staff members when they are due. 
  • Supervises and administers telehealth treatment programs for multiple Gateway sites. 
  • Provides for the proper supervision of the telehealth clinical staff, including regular individual and group supervision, case consultations and treatment plan updates.  
  • staffing patterns and productivity. 
  • Supervises the development, coordination, and telehealth implementation of therapeutic and related activities. 
  • Ensures telehealth program is staffed adequately during treatment hours and completes monthly staffing telehealth schedules. 
  • Reviews and approves telehealth staff timecards bi-weekly. 
  • Conducts interviews for open telehealth positions with the Executive of Telehealth and Chief Medical Officer. 
  • Intervenes and documents appropriately when providers demonstrate poor work performance or user experience. 
  • Participates in appropriate community and public relations activities. 
  • Participates on Gateway committees as assigned. 
  • Attends all mandatory Gateway trainings and in-services and TH services. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Significant understanding of Hybrid Telehealth model and 100% virtual engagement through an enterprise telehealth platform. 


Requirements
  • Master's degree in field that meets Pennsylvania State Department of Health staffing qualification regulations. 
  • At least 2 years' experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol professional setting and Telehealth Hybrid experience.  
  • At least 2 years Clinical supervisory experience in mental health, behavior health, drug and alcohol professional settings. 
  • LPC or LCSW preferred and supervisor for licensure  

Additional Requirements

  • Pass PA Criminal Background Check 
  • Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.  
  • Pass a Drug Screen 
  • TB Test 

Work Conditions

  • Remote working conditions with 50% time working out of Telehealth HUB. 
  • Minimal physical demands. 
  • Significant understanding of Hybrid Telehealth model and 100% virtual engagement through the m.Care platform.
