Position Summary:

The Customer Service Staff Supporting Sales role plays a vital role in the success of Benetrends Financial by providing high-quality, client-focused support to our sales team and prospective clients. This position acts as the backbone of the sales team by managing internal workflows, coordinating with departments, and ensuring all sales efforts are effectively supported from behind the scenes. By directly supporting the sales team, this position contributes to meeting team goals, fostering client relationships, and upholding Benetrends’ reputation as a leader in business funding solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal sales inquiries, assisting team members with tasks such as research, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with funding consultants to prioritize leads, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate data entry into the CRM system (Hub Spot).
  • Prepare and manage documents needed for sales consultations, including per-qualification forms, funding program brochures, and engagement documents.
  • Assist sales consultants with administrative tasks like scheduling meetings, processing agreements, and coordinating with clients to collect necessary documents.
  • Track client progress through the sales pipeline, updating records to reflect completed steps, and flagging leads for follow-up or escalation.
Customer Engagement:
  • Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing client questions or concerns, maintaining professionalism, and fostering trust in Benetrends’ services.
  • Respond to incoming client queries related to their funding journey, providing timely and detailed updates or directing them to the appropriate sales team member.
  • Ensure clients feel supported during the initial stages of their journey by creating a welcoming and helpful experience.
  • Monitor the progress of client funding processes and follow up with necessary departments to address delays or issues.
  • Coordinate updates and key details with clients on behalf of funding consultants when appropriate.
Administrative and Operational Tasks:
  • Review and validate sales-related documentation before submission to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and manage incoming email communications, distributing inquiries to the appropriate funding consultant or department.
  • Support the on boarding process by ensuring clients have submitted all required documents and completed any necessary forms.
  • Coordinate internally with the marketing team to manage and update leads generated from campaigns.
Team Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
  • Partner with funding consultants to identify gaps in the sales process and propose solutions to improve client engagement.
  • Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to streamline client on-boarding and ensure a smooth hand-off to other departments.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on Benetrends’ services, products, and industry trends.

Key Qualifications:
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in customer service, sales support, or a related field.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with a professional client base.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with business financing solutions, and business ownership
