Job description

This is a remote position.

Exavalu is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Executive with a hunter mentality to drive growth in the mid-market financial services sector, leveraging our expertise in Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Tableau solutions.

 

Location Preferences : New York City, Dallas, Charlotte, or Los Angeles (with flexibility for remote work)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within mid-market financial institutions ($100M - $1B annual revenue)
  • Develop and execute account strategies to position Exavalu's Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Tableau solutions
  • Articulate complex technical solutions and their business value to C-level executives and IT decision-makers
  • Collaborate with solution architects to craft tailored proposals addressing specific client challenges
  • Drive the sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for new logo acquisition
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity records in CRM
  • Stay abreast of financial services industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in financial services technology, with a focus on mid-market institutions
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding new business quotas ($2M+ annually)
  • Deep understanding of financial services operations, regulatory landscape, and digital transformation challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp and articulate the value of Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Tableau solutions
  • Experience selling enterprise software or IT services to banks, credit unions, or other financial institutions
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events

 

Mid-Market Segment Focus:

·       Financial institutions with annual revenues between $100 million and $1 billion. Typical deal sizes range from $250,000 to $5 million.

·       Focus Sectors: Credit Unions, Regional and Community Banks, Non-Bank Lenders, Asset Management Firms, Wealth Management Companies, Fintech Companies, Investment Advisory Firms
