Position Overview

The Program Manager, Growth Initiatives and Pipeline Solutions will manage the execution of market development strategic initiatives and operational activities while working cross-functionally to ensure the market development team meets business objectives on time and within budget. The position will work cross functionally and very closely with various levels of the organization. This role assists in managing the market development budget, strategic planning, and leadership team initiatives. The Program Manager, Growth Initiatives and Pipeline Solutions is responsible for providing problem solving, analytical, and other project management support for the team.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage the market development strategic planning process; help the market development leadership team in the creation of annual strategic plans from initiative ideation through formal budget and project requests in collaboration with cross-functional leaders and under enterprise-wide guidelines.
  • Liaise with finance business partners and market development leaders to manage the budget, accruals, and annual and quarterly forecasts.
  • Manage the contracting process; including, but not limited to, manage the legal document request cycle, liaison between market development and legal teams, and see vendor payments through to completion.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for programs and projects assigned; monitor contract stipulations and deadlines according to established compliance guidelines and partner with the compliance team in managing contract processes.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; manage overall milestones from concept to delivery and assure budget targets are achieved.
  • Build and maintain detailed and up-to-date process trackers to ensure progression of key steps and to provide clear line of sight to status updates.
  • Coordinate with market development leaders to develop agendas for team meetings.
  • Create presentation materials in partnership with market development leaders.
  • Monitor, track, and report the performance of each initiative, program, and project.
  • Collaborate and communicate consistently and frequently with all leaders of market development.
  • Utilize project management tools and skills to manage market development leaders’ deliverables, initiatives, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with leadership and team members.
  • Troubleshoot problems and escalate, as needed.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Apply effective project management skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of progressive, broad-based project experience.
  • 2+ years managing operations including, but not limited to, budget management and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple competing priorities at the same time.
  • Demonstrated success with oral and written communications/presentations, influence and persuasion, results orientation, facilitation, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs to include Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, or pharma industry with a focus on cancer detection and/or oncology.
  • Experience managing multiple overlapping deadlines and workstreams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and collaborative focus that inspires confidence within the organization and external partners.

Salary Range:

$109,000.00 - $174,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
