Cloud Operations Intern - EMEA

 

Location:                       Remote, United Kingdom (Manchester or London preferred)
Employment Type:     Internship (Full-Time)
Program Duration:     July 7, 2025 – September 12, 2025  

 

Summary

The Cloud Operations team is seeking a Cloud Operations Intern to assist with implementing and supporting customer environments. This role offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working alongside the Cloud and Customer Support teams to deliver exceptional service. This internship provides the opportunity to work closely with the Cloud Operations Manager and their team of engineers. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated learner who enjoys solving problems and exceeding customer expectations, ready to contribute to a team known for its commitment to excellence.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Configure and build customer environments for go-live.
  • Respond to customer support tickets and provided solutions to technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • This internship position is primarily home based but there may be an expectation to work in our Manchester office throughout the internship program (which is close to St Peters Square).


Required Education and Experience

  • In pursuit of a bachelor's degree or graduate level degree in Computer Science.
  • Junior, Senior and Graduate level students preferred.
  • Prior internship experience is desirable, but not required.
  • Knowledge or experience within any of the following areas is a plus:
    • Software development life cycle (coding, packaging, testing, and deployment).
    • Powershell scripting, GIT Hub, Azure DevOps, Terraform.
    • Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
    • Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2/2016, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory.
    • Automating processes using PowerShell, Azure PowerShell Modules, REST APIs, JSON or ARM Templates.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Possess basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
  • Know your way around Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
  • Comfort with speaking to individuals and presenting to large groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong ability in building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve problems while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills across both a team and individual setting.
  • Able to work on a broad variety of projects.
  • Adaptable to changing needs and situations.
