Event Marketing Coordinator – 12 month Contract (North America Remote)

As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic Event Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Team.
Position overview
Reporting to our Events & Partner Marketing Specialist, Americas the Event Marketing Coordinator will assist the event and greater marketing team by supporting the planning and execution of key corporate events, trade shows, and virtual engagements. The coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, manage event logistics, and implement pre and post-event activities to amplify reach and engagement and lead generation.
The candidate will assist with event execution including pre and post event activities to drive lead generation and stakeholder satisfaction with a data-driven analysis mindset. We are seeking a highly organized individual who is a strong communicator and creative problem solver. The person that is successful in this role is a team player with a proactive and adaptable nature. Through precise execution and data-driven insights, the role will contribute to a strong event strategy that generates meaningful leads, reinforces brand credibility, and provides measurable value to the business. This role is based in North America, on a fully remote basis. This role will work alongside our Sales and Marketing teams, based in PST, EST, GMT, and CET time zones, whereby flexibility will be required for participation in periodic or recurring meetings with these global teams.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Event Marketing Team to ensure the seamless planning and execution of all North America Kneat events including, but not limited to, sponsored face-to-face conferences, field events, owned events, virtual events on occasion, etc
- Assist Event Marketing Team in achieving event marketing KPIs and ensuring ROI metrics are in place including managing lead data collected during events, ensuring proper categorization and follow-up
- Work closely with Marketing, Business Development, and Sales teams to execute face-to-face and virtual events including pre and post event responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, vendor management, catering, and AV setup
- Draft event-related content, including invitations and social media posts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Stay updated on life sciences and validation industry trends and events to proactively identify new market opportunities within the region
- Build relationships across the organization, with Kneat customers, partners, and industry thought leaders to collaborate on events as co-presenters, panelists, and guest speakers
- Work closely with content and creative teams to develop and deliver the best possible experience
- Bring excellence in project management to ensure all milestones are achieved on time and on budget before, during and after the event
- Additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Some travel to events may be required.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related role. Preferred if prior experience in both in-person and virtual events.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- You have exceptional English language verbal and written communications skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience generating a high volume of content while managing tight deadlines.
- You possess a high degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to be an effective team-player in a cross-functional environment.
Nice to haves
- Experience working in a similar role in a highly regulated complex industry such as biopharma, life sciences, medical device, security and defence, or food and beverage.
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g., Vimeo) and digital marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot)
- Ability to support event content creation, including presentations, speaker briefs, and promotional copy.
- Ability to write/speak in a second language is an asset
