CVRM Regional Health Systems Manager

Reporting to the Director CVRM Commercial, as the KAM, ATTR & Hyperkalemia (Ontario, QC/Atlantic and West) you will help build and accelerate the development of the AstraZeneca Amyloidosis (ATTR) franchise and help to drive health system change to improve treatment of hyperkalemia.   

 

AstraZeneca is building a new dedicated field team to serve patients living with the debilitating effects of amyloidosis and hyperkalemia. In an innovative and dynamic market, you will play a critical role in redefining the way amyloidosis and hyperkalemia is diagnosed and treated. You will successfully engage key external experts to simplify the journey for amyloidosis and hyperkalemia patients. You will help the cross-functional teams (CFTs) accelerate and deliver value so that centers of excellence see AstraZeneca as a partner in disease management.  You will create alignment between field, marketing, medical and patient access teams so that together, with institutions and healthcare systems, we can co-create solutions that seamlessly connect amyloidosis and hyperkalemia patients to optimal care.  

 

In this position, you will  

  • Successfully launch a new medicine for hereditary ATTR, by creating and delivering strategic center of excellence account plans that are customized and rooted in deep market insights 

  • Lead regional efforts to redefine the way amyloidosis and hyperkalemia is diagnosed and treated, aligned with transforming care and healthy system change initiatives 

  • Effectively liaise with key decision makers at the account level (i.e. Specialists, allied health, MDT’s, etc.) to co-create healthcare solutions that connect patients to optimal care in both ATTR and hyperkalemia 

  • Map national/provincial account influencers and coordinate alignment of tactical execution across accounts 

  • Understand and analyze the market dynamics within the Amyloidosis healthcare ecosystem to generate deep insights on future trends that impact the brand and market 

  • Map the ATTR patient journey and pathways in centers of excellence within your assigned territory to deepen understanding of the barriers, identify unmet needs, and improve the patient experience 

  • Work with Patient Support Services to identify solutions and streamline the patient journey 

  • Develop communication and feedback processes with head office and direct-line manager to jointly create solutions for centers of excellence and key accounts/institutions

Your Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience 

  • University degree in Science and/or Business 

  • 5-10 years pharmaceutical Key Account Management experience with a track record of success 

  • Experience in cardiology, neurology or amyloidosis is a strong asset 

  • Launch experience preferred 

  • You are experienced in engaging with and analyzing insights from external customers, prioritizing areas of opportunity and delivering agile solutions to improve executional excellence 

  • Collaborative teammate with a strong ability to inspire, lead without authority and engage a diverse cross-functional team to achieve goals within the broader ATTR ecosystem and center of excellence goals  

  • You can positively impact and influence others and quickly establish credibility, while building strong business partnerships 

  • Strong  project management skills, and an ability to find solutions to complex problems 

  • Strong communication and listening skills that allow you to easily identify the needs of specific key accounts and then align the value proposition of our brand to meet those needs 

  • Agile learner who is comfortable operating in dynamic and complex environments 

  • You have strong technical and digital capabilities to maximize an omnichannel approach, leading to engaging and impactful customer interactions
