The Senior Product Manager, Emerging Markets is a highly experienced member of the Product Strategy organization focusing on high-growth emerging markets (e.g. China, Southeast Asia, Middle East & Africa, Latin America). This role involves understanding local needs, identifying opportunities, and delivering product offerings and strategies that resonate with diverse customer segments. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales & Services, Engineering, Operations to drive successful product portfolio development and customer satisfaction in emerging markets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct thorough market research and assessment to quantify addressable market, understand specific needs, behaviors and economic factors influencing customers in emerging markets. Use insights/data to drive product decision and prioritization
  • Define and execute a product strategy that aligns with Henny Penny’s strategic goals and addresses the unique challenges of emerging markets. Develop a product roadmap and set successful/measurable metrics
  • Be an expert and advocate for multiple product categories with intimate knowledge of our customers, their operations, and trends in the industry.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in NPI (new product introduction) stage-gate process to develop/launch new products in emerging markets
  • Lead the creation of product budgets and prepare budget documents for review by the management team. Be the consultant on the prioritization of all resources/projects regarding a product category
  • Oversee the development of product pricing strategies that encompass value and market position
  • Develop and monitor key product metrics and perform quality and cost control reviews based on these metrics
  • Outline need for training and promotional materials in support of Product Categories
  • Serve as mentor and/or train Product Managers
  • Consistently models the Company values and expected behaviors.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor (Other) Marketing, Business or Technical field Required
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • 7+ years Professional experience with 5+ years of product management experience Required
  • Prior experience working in food service equipment preferred
  • Strong understanding of emerging market dynamics including socio economic factors
  • Proficient in data analytics and market research with the ability to use insights to drive product decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficiency in two or more languages is preferred.
  • Excellent organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work with highly technical products at a global level
  • Ability to consistently handle a large volume of work effectively
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally to support trade show and customer visits as needed.
  • Proven leadership and the confidence to prioritize and make tough decisions
  • Proven success delivering comprehensive product roadmaps to fuel future growth in new and existing product categories and services
  • Experience and ability to coach and guide people
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
