We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Quality Engineering to join our team.  This leadership role requires a strong proponent of high quality and automation to lead the quality strategy across out organization.  The ideal candidate will excel in driving a quality first culture of reducing time to market and has a proven history of continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ingrain quality as a core discipline into every aspect of the engineering organization
• Provide expert-level quality engineering knowledge and hands-on problem-solving expertise
• Accountable for the overall design, implementation and improvement of testing strategies and tools with a particular focus on test automation, continuous integration and delivery
• Define and execute standards, methods and procedures to determine product release readiness
• Collaborate closely with development teams to deliver software releases with an ever-increasing level of quality
• Owns measurable velocity, implementing new designs, and implementing best practices
• Establish and enforce engineering practices and quality control standards across products and teams
• Track and improve key performance indicators related to quality engineering efficiency and effectiveness
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement across BU portfolio

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering or related technical field
• 10+ years experience in engineering management roles
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and application
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, methodologies and best practices
• Ability to work with multifunctional, global teams in a fast-paced setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
