We’re already helping over 100,000 people grow their business with Clay. From local pizza shops to enterprises like Anthropic and Notion, our tool lets you instantly translate any idea that you have for growing your company into reality. We’re looking for sharp, low-ego people to help us turn every business's creative ideas into a reality.  Check out our wall of love to learn more about the product.

Why is Clay the best place to work in New York?

  • Customers love the product (100K+ users and growing)

  • We’re growing a lot (10x YoY for the past two years)

  • Incredible culture (our customers keep applying to work here)

  • In-person work (beautiful office space in Flatiron)

  • Well-resourced (raised a Series B in June 2024 from investors like Sequoia and Meritech)

Events Lead @ Clay

We’re seeking an Events Lead to scale event marketing initiatives to both position Clay as a leader in the market as well as ignite community engagement throughout the year. This role requires a creative, resourceful thinker who can craft differentiated B2B events that almost don’t feel like a typical B2B experience. You balance creativity and business acumen to both provide an incredible guest experience as well prove the value of organizing and launching events.

What You’ll Do
  • You will be the main driver of Clay broader event strategy and execution - from roadmap planning, vendor management, and experience marketing.

  • Own our event sponsorship experience and logistics. You will map out the entire go-to-market landscape from an events perspective, work with our growth team to identify where we need to have a presence, and execute the strategy to build an amazing event experience.

  • Own the strategy and execution of exclusive executive events. You will build the invite list, coordinate the venue selection and set up, and take care of the details that make people feel special during an intimate event.

  • You will work closely with our demand team to develop ways to generate enterprise pipeline from events - doing a combo of booth experience, external events, etc.

  • You will work with our systems team to make sure we have all of the right infrastructure in place to track leads generated from events.

  • Work closely with our brand team to generate brand assets and activations that sparkle brand affinity and association from event attendees.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience with organizing large scale and intimate events. You know what it takes to ensure the invitee experience is impeccable both for smaller events and very large ones.

  • Creative yet analytical. You are creative by nature, but can flex your analytical and business-focused skills when needed, especially around budgeting, ROI reporting, etc.

  • Extremely organized. You cannot live without being very tight on project management. You know exactly what is on track, what is not, and what we are doing next.

  • Experience with working with fast-growing environments. You are comfortable with managing multiple projects at once and are comfortable adjusting the strategy over time.

Life @ Clay

Based out of a central office on 19th Street in Manhattan's Flatiron District. We love the energy of in-person collaboration while also offering the flexibility to work from home when needed.

  • Competitive salary and role trajectory: Roles, responsibilities, and comp grow as we do

  • Health insurance: Fully funded, high quality health, dental & vision coverage (including 80-100% therapy coverage)

  • Visa sponsorship: We get it - it's an arduous process, but we're not scared of it

  • Paid time off: We expect team members to take at least 3 weeks fully-disconnected per year, with a flexible vacation policy beyond that

  • Free lunch: Lunch is provided in office every day

  • Parental leave & fertility support: IVF fertility benefits, egg freezing, and 4 months of paid parental leave
