WHAT YOU WILL DO

onX is seeking a Community Marketing Manager III with a passion for the onX brand and their customers. As an onX Community Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for working with the marketing team to amplify onX throughout the hunting community. Your focus will be on assisting the onX Hunt Community team in a multitude of tasks in an effort to continue to elevate the onX brand in the hunting industry. As an onX Community Marketing Manager III, your essential job duties and responsibilities will look like: 
  • Collaborate on building and own ongoing execution of onX Hunt social media across all relevant media channels such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and Forums. 
  • Research social media market trends and implement learnings into future execution 
  • Build, analyze, and provide weekly reporting on business metrics for social media performance  
  • Work with Marketing stakeholders to strategize the execution of projects and initiatives through social channels.  
  • Manage and expand regional influencer programs by building and maintaining relationships with high quality content producers and local hunting experts. Ensure our joint success with these influencers and be their connection to the onX brand. 
  • Research/Development of new Industry Programs and opportunities to expand onX Hunt’s presence in the digital space. Opportunities may include new channels, in person events, and streaming. 
  • Work cross functionally to ensure onX Hunt merchandise is delivered for events and seasonal releases and the onX ecommerce site is properly merchandised.
  • Ability to shoot photo and video assets for own channels as well as support greater marketing initiatives. 
  • Work with the marketing team to organize and maintain digital assets you produce as well as from our community partners in our Digital Asset Management system.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of social media experience or a total of 5 years experience in lieu of having a Bachelor's degree. 
  • Well-versed on all relevant social media platforms and trends. You know the platforms and tools that make social media marketing impactful.
  • A passionate consumer-centric thinker and customer advocate. You understand social media consumer behavior deeply and intuitively, put the customer first, and influence others to think similarly.
  • Results oriented. You are most comfortable in work environments that are outcome-oriented and merit-based, and are highly motivated by goal accomplishment.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to find solutions for unstructured problems
  • Detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Receptive to change. You are flexible, adaptable, innovative, and open in response to competitive pressure and market change.
  • Naturally collaborative, with experience working across functions.
  • Superior writing/communication skills
  • Statistical and critical thinking skills

WHERE YOU CAN WORK

onX has created a thriving distributed workforce community across several US locations. This position can be performed from an onX corporate office, “Basecamp,” or “Connection Hub”.

  • Corporate Offices: onX was founded in Montana with offices in Missoula and Bozeman. If you prefer to work in an office at least part of the time, this is a great option.
  • Basecamps: onX’s Basecamps are established virtual workforce communities where a sizable number of distributed team members group for work, volunteering, socializing, and adventure. 
    • Our current Basecamps are located within a 90-mile radius of the following: Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Kalispell, MT; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; and Seattle, WA. 
  • Connection Hubs: onX’s Connection Hub locations are smaller, emerging communities of distributed team members.
    • Our current Connection Hubs are located within a 60-mile radius of the following: Boise, ID; Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Richmond, VA; Spokane, WA; the Bay Area of California, and Vermont.
HOW YOU’LL BE COMPENSATED

onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $90,000 to $105,000 upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
