Job description

At Gardens Interactive, we believe great games are built on connection. From immersive gameplay to vibrant communities, we celebrate artistry, foster meaningful relationships, and prioritize inclusivity—not just in the stories we create, but in the teams we build.

A skilled and organized Senior Producer is essential to bring this vision to life. This role is the heart of our development process, aligning teams, refining workflows, and championing sustainable production practices. With a keen eye on both the big picture and the finer details, you’ll ensure that every idea has the support it needs to transform into an unforgettable player experience and incredible studio culture that embodies respect, fairness, and belonging.

At Gardens, ambition and balance aren’t opposites—they’re partners. If you’re excited to craft better processes, foster collaboration, and leave a lasting impact on the games industry, we’d love to have you join us on this journey.

A Day In The Life:
You’ll take the reins on one or more multidisciplinary feature teams, coordinating efforts that bring our boldest ideas to life. Your expertise will guide development in areas like multiplayer melee combat systems, NPC pipelines, and other ambitious features. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
  • Production Ownership: Collaborate with Design and other disciplines to clarify and communicate team goals, priorities, and timelines. Your team will look to you for answers to the “what,” “why,” and “when.” Leadership will count on your insights for the “what,” “how long,” and “how it’s going.”

  • Proactively Problem-Solve: Identify and address challenges—whether related to people, processes, or product—before they become critical roadblocks.

  • Foster Alignment: Partner with other producers and team leads to align priorities across individuals, feature teams, and the studio’s broader vision.

  • Scope with Confidence: Champion your team’s needs during planning and push back when scope risks exceeding available resources.

  • Adapt and Evolve: Refine processes to match the evolving needs of development, from pre-production through live operations. Anticipate challenges at every stage and champion improvements to address them proactively.

  • Earn Respect: Operate in a manner to foster respect and trust with your team.

Who You Are:
You navigate uncertainty and the unknown with grace. Calm, collected, and compassionate, you’re as skilled at navigating complex production challenges as you are at fostering a healthy, supportive environment.
  • Collaborative Translator: You seamlessly bridge communications between disciplines, aligning competing priorities into actionable plans.

  • Problem Solver: You guide teams through ambiguity by integrating their diverse perspectives with a cool head.

  • Empathetic Leader: You navigate difficult conversations articulating tradeoffs and opportunity costs to help your team make informed decisions.

  • Big Picture Thinker: You balance high-level strategic goals with the day-to-day needs of development, zooming in and out to frame and solve problems effectively.

  • Humble Advocate: You leave your ego at the door, prioritizing what’s best for the team, the project, and the studio.

What You Bring
  • Broad production expertise with a proven track record of solving complex, multidisciplinary challenges.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that inspire trust and earn respect.

  • A commitment to continuous improvement—of your skills, our processes, and the ways we collaborate.

  • Tools (both interpersonal and technical) to address and resolve challenges across people, product, and processes.

What Success Looks Like
  • Teams feel empowered by the processes you implement—your systems make their work easier, not harder.

  • Scope challenges are raised, addressed, and triaged collaboratively during planning.

  • Deliverables align with studio priorities, balancing innovation with sustainable practices.

  • You’ve earned the trust and respect of both individual contributors and leadership, becoming a go-to partner in complex problem-solving.
