We have an exciting vacancy within our Finance team for a Credit Control Team Supervisor, who will help lead one of our shared services areas. Without effective debt collection processes the Trust would be unable to collect any monies owing. The impact of ineffective Credit Management would leave the Trust open to legal counter claims and customer complaints.

Location
The role will be based working from home, with the allocation of a nearby Hub for collaborative working in Leeds, Newark or Burnley. The successful applicant is required to be in the Leeds office with the team one day per week (Thursday).

Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience :
We are looking for a highly effective leader with great people skills. Through your engaging leadership style, you will develop and grow your team to educate and inspire others across the Trust and ensure delivery.
Your key accountabilities include:
- To ensure all Credit Control financial transactions are performed in accordance with the trust’s policies and all applicable statutory laws and regulations.
- To ensure that all Credit Control processes are carried out in an efficient, effective manner and in accordance with agreed SLAs.
- To ensure that Trust debt is collected as quickly and efficiently as possible to provide maximum cash flow.
- To engage with key stakeholders throughout Trust to promote services and grow relationships to benefit the Trust.
- To line manage and encourage all Credit Control staff to perform at the highest levels.
- Provide monthly transactional data to show team performance nationally.
- Act as national point of expertise and best practice, assisting colleagues in following SAP & Trust processes and procedures, providing training as required.
- Work to cyclical financial deadlines.
- This role is expected to perform Internal Audits on other areas of SSC in line with the QMS Audit Plan.
- Displaying the Trust values and behaviours at all times.
- Ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of Trust life and promoting inclusion by challenging behaviour, practices, actions, or decisions that are counter to the objectives of the Trust’s policies and values.
About you
Technical:
- Extensive Credit Control Experience.
- Experience of operating to a quality management system.
- Quality management system training.
- Line management experience, beneficial.
- SAP experience in particular FICO, Credit Management and SD modules including Testing.
General:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- the confidence and drive to take a visible lead on process and control improvements, not being afraid to innovate and break with previous convention.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships and team culture.
- An exceptional communicator, both verbally and in written form, being able to explain complex financial information to people across the organisation.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including lookups and pivot tables).
