As Infinite Lambda expands our business in the US, we are seeking a B2B contractor for the role of Senior Analytics Engineer I Contractor
Start Date: ASAP, before the 4th Dec 2024
Contract duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
Daily Requirement: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Timezone: Must be able to work within GMT-5 or 9 AM–5 PM UK time.
About the role
At Infinite Lambda, analytics engineers turn vast amounts of data into insightful, easy-to-use, automated business intelligence reports. They work closely with both the internal team of engineers and our partners’ projects teams to deliver reports that empower business owners to make better and more informed decisions.
Requirements
This role involves serious responsibilities to both our clients and our teams. This is why the suitable applicant needs to have a specific skill set as well as considerable experience.
dbt Core: Strong experience with dbt Core
Databricks/Modern DWH: Exposure to Databricks or modern data warehouses.
SQL & Coding: Advanced SQL, Jinja, and Python skills.
CI/CD & GitHub: Proficiency in CI/CD, environment management, and GitHub.
Linter & Debugging: Experience with SQLFluff or similar tools.
Training & Documentation: Skilled in training and creating clear documentation.
POCs: Ability to demo and explain concepts via small POCs.
Analytics Engineering: Broad expertise in Analytics Engineering required for this project.
3–5 years of experience working on projects for US/EU clients.
Experience in the healthcare or insurance business domain
Soft Skills:
You are comfortable working in a distributed team
