Job description

AHEAD is currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to help build out the compliance function and counseling to AHEAD’s sales team and stakeholders. You will report to AHEAD’s Corporate Counsel, Compliance. This is a remote role.  

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders as well as customers, vendors, and regulators, as necessary; 
  • Manage compliance-related projects for current and evolving laws and obligations; 
  • Assist in implementing an effective compliance program; 
  • Assist with data privacy related audits as necessary; and 
  • Assess and minimize sources of risk, with appropriate escalations as necessary. 

  • Qualifications
  • Knowledge of U.S. data privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, TCPA) and experience with GDPR; 
  • Experience interacting with or working for government agencies; 
  • Expertise in drafting and reviewing a broad range of policies; 
  • Expertise in Microsoft tools, including Powerpoint and Excel; 
  • Project or program management experience; 
  • Strong analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills; and 
  • Excellent business judgment, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
