Job description

GrowthAssistant is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant (Generalist). The ideal candidate will excel in email marketing, SEO coordination, community engagement, and general support tasks while working closely with various stakeholders.

The Role


1. Email Marketing:
  • Manage monthly newsletter campaigns using the CRM tool (Keep).
  • Work with Keep consultant to produce drip marketing campaigns. 
  • Track and report on engagement metrics, optimizing content for improved open and click-through rates.
2. SEO Coordination:
  • Collaborate with outsourced SEO team to manage and coordinate SEO-related content tasks.
  • Goal is to push 1-3 newsletters. 1 monthly, 2 reactivation campaigns. Goal is to move to weekly newsletters. 
  • Facilitate content production with ghostwriters, ensuring healthcare topics are accurately reviewed and approved by clinical staff.

3. Community Engagement:
  • Monitor and engage with social media audiences, including responding to DMs, comments, and initiating conversations with relevant accounts to build brand presence.
  • Physician engagement - physician referral program. Work closely with client to ensure task are being completed in a timely manner. 
  • Assist with day-to-day social media interactions to nurture an active and engaged community.
  • Respond to Google reviews as needed. (3-5 per week.) 

4. General Support:
  • Assist with minor graphic design tasks for email marketing and social media as needed.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing teams, providing necessary assets and updates to support ongoing campaigns.
  • Ad hoc support as needed.


The Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, with exposure to email marketing and content coordination.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Keep) and email marketing best practices.
  • Strong communication and project management skills for coordinating with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across marketing channels.
  • Ability to work EST, 9am - 5pm

Nice to Have
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar) for minor visual content creation.
  • Experience with SEO tools or a general understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Experience in healthcare or wellness industries.
  • Some sales experience, ability to speak to sales staff. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
