The Enterprise Architecture (EA) Management Team Lead is responsible for guiding a team of enterprise architects and overseeing the development, implementation, and governance of enterprise architecture practices. This role ensures alignment of IT strategies with business objectives and facilitates collaboration across business units and technical teams. The Team Lead plays a key role in enabling digital transformation, innovation, and operational efficiency.
What you will do: Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices. Align enterprise architecture strategies with business objectives and IT governance. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on emerging technologies and their impact on business outcomes.Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of enterprise architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and monitor team progress. Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.Architecture Development and Oversight: Oversee the creation of current and future-state architecture models for business, data, application, and technology domains. Evaluate and recommend solutions, platforms, and tools that align with enterprise goals. Define roadmaps and transition plans to achieve desired architectural outcomes.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless communication. Lead workshops and discussions to gather requirements and align architecture with stakeholder needs.Governance and Risk Management: Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and policies. Monitor adherence to architectural guidelines during project implementations. Identify and mitigate risks related to architecture, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Qualifications and skills:8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise-level strategies and frameworks.Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., SAP LeanIX).Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and application architecture.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Education and certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
