As part of a talented team of individuals, you will be instrumental as a partner in new customer acquisitions, and ensuring the success of our sales, operational and support teams. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by providing guidance and stewarding the development of comprehensive solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our prospects and customers. You will collaborate closely with Sales, product teams, customers and technical teams to develop, present, and articulate managed services solutions that align with prospect/customer objectives.
Specific responsibilities include matching customer needs with company’s product and solution set, explaining solutions to the customer’s executive and technical personnel as well as internal sales resources. You will coordinate efforts with internal operational, project management and relationship management resources in planning for and guiding successful customer onboardings based on the solution and customer requirements. You will play a key role in building confidence in company and our solutions to both internal and external audiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and workshops to showcase the benefits of company’s managed services offerings.
- Act as a conduit between Sales and Product Development to support both technical due diligence and potential new product needs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities, assess customer needs, and develop compelling value propositions.
- Lead the creation of the Sales Tool Kit and Solution Summary for detailed proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and RFPs for managed services engagements. Validate with Solution Summary that proposals align with customer requirements, industry best practices, and company capabilities.
- Steward and enable effective handoffs between Sales, onboarding, and delivery teams for customer opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering expert guidance on company’s managed services solutions. Translate client requirements into technical specifications and articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams. Collaborate effectively across all departments to drive successful outcomes and exceed client expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency gains within the managed services sales process. Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership to enhance our capabilities and market positioning.
- Stay abreast of the community banking industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices related to managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Proactively identify training and educational opportunities for sales team and lead efforts for their continued education to maintain and enhance their understanding of new company solutions and community bank challenges.
- Actively participate in special projects and strategic initiatives based on organizational priorities for the year.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, or significant experience in a similar role
- 6+ years of sales or solution architect experience in technology
- Proven experience in a technical sales or solution architecture role, with a focus on managed services, cloud solutions, or IT outsourcing
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing technologies. Additional understanding of bank operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a track record of delivering high-quality solutions that drive business value.
- Previous experience in the banking industry a plus
- Previous experience in managed services environment a plus
