Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible 20 hours a week
  • Handle payroll processing for multiple companies within a restaurant group
  • Manage financial data entry and reconciliation for various client accounts
  • Follow and implement 20+ page Standard Operating Procedures for specific tasks
  • Potential for increased hours and responsibilities as the firm expands

Responsibilities:
  • Process complex payrolls, including tip allocation for restaurant clients
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
  • Conduct bank and payroll reconciliations
  • Create and manipulate Excel pivot tables for financial reporting
  • Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures for various accounting tasks
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online for client bookkeeping
  • Assist in managing financial data for multiple client accounts
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly in creating and using pivot tables
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Comfortable with tedious, repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work within the client’s time zone
