Job Description

Technical Consultant

Being part of an international project delivery team for EMEA, and responsible for supporting installation and upgrades of the Radiology Informatics solutions across the EMEA Region. You will be collaborating with Technical Leads, Project Managers and customers beside local technical consultants and R&D teams, and will have the responsibility to ensure proper delivery of the solution according to solution design, statement of work and ensuring the proper quality standards.

Your role:

Technical Support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with R&D teams as needed.
  • Document solutions for knowledge-sharing and future system maintenance
Customer Engagement
  • Analyze customer needs, provide tailored technical recommendations, and mentor users.
  • Act as a customer advocate, sharing insights to improve products and services.
Implementation & Deployment
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Continuously enhance methodologies and services based on customer feedback.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
  • Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to boost team effectiveness.
  • Share best practices globally to foster continuous learning.
Process & Escalation Management
  • Manage escalations with senior leadership and ensure stakeholder feedback is addressed.
  • Adhere to the Philips Excellence Process Framework and maintain version control.

You're the right fit if you have:

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, IT, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
  • Programming experience (12 years) with databases, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Perl, PowerShell).
  • Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies like Hyper-V, VMware, and server/storage systems.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database (preferred).
Professional Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset and collaborative working attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
