Job description

Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services with 278 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Role

Netflix is building the world’s leading entertainment platform, offering great films, series, games and live events that push the boundaries of storytelling and delight members of all ages and tastes across the world. Our team, Product Creative Studio, is responsible for promotional creative assets on Netflix. We are part of the larger Product Discovery & Promotion team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Producer to join our PCS Live team. The ideal candidate is operationally-minded, creatively-savvy and passionate about bringing impactful experiences to life. This role is responsible for managing asset production across our entire slate of Live events.

From raw asset materials to final product asset deliverables, you’ll be a critical part of the team’s process at every step, including any post-launch asset needs or innovation needs that our work helps support. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Producer to oversee asset creation milestones end to end.

In this role, you will work with many partners and stakeholders, such as Program Managers (tracking overarching event milestones), cross-functional Netflix teams (eg Music Labs, Marketing, XD, Post) as well as and external partners (agencies and self-delivering content partners) to project manage static, video and textual assets.

Responsibilities

This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth delivery of assets to/from internal and external partners, as well as forecasting needs and building workflows that ensure we scale with excellence as the slate grows. You’ll be responsible for partnering closely with PCS Live colleagues to ensure we hit larger Product Discovery & Promotion Live milestones effectively.

While other roles within PCS define the creative strategy for each campaign, the Producer will be the backbone to ensure the creative we deliver for our members is produced accurately and efficiently. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working both on highly bespoke tentpole projects (being very hands-on in the details of promotional creative) and also working to oversee production at scale (having worked with external vendors.)

Accountable for the overall health of creative asset production across the Live portfolio, this role is responsible for PCS slating, management of needs from agency support and the designing of new workflows for optimization and scale. Partners with key cross-functional partners to influence the infrastructure to support creative production as our business needs evolve, ie creating frameworks (eg tracking), creating workflows, onboarding agencies.

Proactive forecasting of where bumps may occur is important, as we assess which existing VOD workflows can be leveraged in the Live space - and which need to be introduced for Live specifically, while forming a POV on internal vs external production support as we scale.

In a new space with new partners, raw creative material will come from a variety of teams and partners. Thoughtful coordination to ensure everyone has timely access is a vital part of the role. DIfferent day-by-day, this could mean: working with internal teams on what assets we require for the product experience, onboarding for raw asset deliveries and project management of asset and contextual material deliveries (eg filling in trackers with links, dates, and other information), QC of the raw asset materials, maintenance of digital asset repositories and folder structures, manage file taxonomy, distribution of assets to various internal and external stakeholders.

You will take on the project support, source required information, review creative/provide feedback, research & investigate details required for successful completion, traffic to internal partners, oversee successful PCS delivery. Your awareness of the Netflix Live creative needs (thinking beyond just our team) will ensure we have awareness of shared needs and you’ll help define when workstreams should be centralized and when they are better handled independently.
