Summary
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a School Health Behavioral Therapist (LCSW) to provide virtual mental health services to elementary, middle, and high school students.

The mission of our School Health Program is to deliver high-quality health care to students that is accessible, convenient, and affordable for all. As a School Health Behavioral Therapist you will provide direct therapeutic services to students within our partner school districts, including assessments, brief evidence-based interventions, and discharge planning.

**Must be licensed in Arizona**
*Salary: For Full Time, the pay range for this position is $65k - $85k (depending on licensure) + medical benefits + PTO**
**Open to Full Time, Part Time, & Per Diem candidates**
** schedule: weekdays within the hours of 1:00pm - 9:00pm**

Description
    • Provide virtual consultation and solution focused therapeutic interventions for students in grades K-12 

    • Provide virtual consultation crisis intervention services for students in grades K-12  

    • Provide culturally relevant counseling and treatment 

    • Collaborate with care management team to identify and support transition services 

    • Participate in trainings, meetings, and other activities with PM Pediatrics School Health team and school officials 

    • Maintain weekly scheduled therapy appointments. 

    • Complete required documentation and paperwork including clinical assessments, treatment planning, and updating of patient medical records within of 24 hours of patient visits. 

    • Participate in recruitment, outreach, and community engagement

    • Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients. 

    • Assist in developing local promotional material and engage in referral partnerships. 

    • Other duties as assigned

    • Must have experience with pediatric & adolescent patients

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology and/ or Counseling; or a related field required

  • Relevant therapist license in the state(s) practicing (LCSW-AZ)

  • Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients required 

  • Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred  

  • Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds 

  • Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based practices.  

  • Prior school-based mental health experience preferred 

  • Bilingual speaking preferred, but not required (proficiency in Spanish a plus)
