Purpose of the Position:
Responsible for, but not limited to, Career Services functions and duties for the Online Campus as they relate to the training, successful onboarding and ongoing professional development training/coaching of new Career Services Advisors.

- Anticipated salary of $53,000-67,000; based on experience and qualifications

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitates Career Services New Hire Training and/or Bullpen production during weeks 1 through 4 of training.
- Facilitates and leads Career Services segments of new hire training on Career Services process and UMA’s core values.
- Facilitates 30/60/90-day training segments for new employees and continuing training for tenured employees.
- Stays up-to-date with current department processes and procedures by shadowing Career Services SMEs on a monthly basis and by regularly attending departmental and training team meetings.
- Identifies developmental/training needs and develops programs/initiatives/training materials to meet those needs.
- Establishes and maintains proper environment for learning. Utilizes face-to-face, group sessions, webinars, teleconferencing and other electronic media, as necessary and appropriate.
- Manages the scheduling, logistics, set up, training and tracking process of new hire training week to provide appropriate development of new hires to meet institutional needs.
- Develop and conduct presentations including classroom training, follow-up trainings and one-on-one coaching as necessary after new hire training class is complete.
- Ensures integrity of the trainings by monitoring a minimum of one call, per month, per new Career Services Advisor and providing appropriate feedback.
- Researches and brings best practices related to Training and Development of new hires and veteran representatives.
- Ensures the administrative records of the organization, related to Training and Development, are maintained consistently as required.
- Maintains the confidentiality of all new hire participants and Career Services employees in all matters, including performance, compensation, disciplinary matters and other sensitive issues.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, CIE, and internal UMA policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Demonstrated ability to apply principles of adult learning, learning styles, and various instructional design approaches and processes to the learning content

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- This is a full-time remote position, with only occasional, planned onsite or travel requirements.
- Home office set up, quiet place to work, ability to be on camera, and ability to hard wire into high-speed internet connection.
