We have an immediate need for a Water Treatment/Account Manager specialist dedicated to the microelectronics/semiconductor markets located in the Albany NY area.  

Salary:  $110-125K plus bonus

Travel: 50-80%

 

You will be primarily responsible for revenue and profit growth of our chemical and consumable offerings, services and UPW products in current microelectronics customers and to grow Vertical targeted account prospects within your assigned region.  You will be required to take a consultative sales approach with a strong emphasis on converting strategic competitive accounts.  In addition, you will be required to build long-term relationships with an existing customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing programs, and selling new technologies.  Direction on customer relationship management and new sales opportunities will be led by the KAI Microelectronics team.

 

Territory/Location Information:  This position is based out of a home office and will cover about a 200 mile radius of the Boston area. Occasional additional overnight travel required.

Responsibilities:
  • Increase annual invoiced gross profit dollar amount >10% over previous year
  • Meet objectives and goals as defined by KAI Microelectronics leadership
  • Service accounts according to previous commitments, scope of work and the KAI Microelectronics edicts
  • Maintain account base at <3% attrition
  • New business claimed expectations >$250K GP annually
Qualifications:
  • Technical Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience within the microelectronics/semiconductor industries
  • Prefer water treatment/consumable or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Prefer working knowledge Ultra-Pure Water
  • Professional history of meeting goals and overcoming obstacles
  • Prior experience that required excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic
  • Proven track record of working in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
