Job Summary
Our Nurse Practitioners provide patients with both clinical Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology services through a primarily telehealth environment. Our practice leverages clinical experience and a diverse knowledge base to provide quality care and reliable service. This individual will utilize their expertise in Psychotherapy modalities and collaborate within a dynamic interdisciplinary team to foster continued learning and growth. We are open to hiring a Part-Time (10-19 hours a week) Nurse Practitioner with Connecticut Licensure on a Fee for Service pay model.
Application Window: Until the end of December 2024.
Anticipated Start Date: December 2024 - Early 2025.
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent quality clinical care consistently that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices
- Appropriately prescribe medication prescriptions & refills considering the best judgment of the patient's wellbeing
- Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment
- Service and maintain a weekly average standard of patients (25 or 45 minute sessions) - the patient standard is based on the number of committed hours chosen
- For example, Working 16 hours a week would be a patient standard of 18 - the number of patients seen per week will depend on various factors (building up caseload, frequency of follow-ups, etc.)
- Coach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes
- Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems
- Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
- Participation in Rivia Mind supervision groups, trainings, and attendance of department and organization meetings
- Orientation Day: Based on your start date as the first Monday you join Rivia Mind - Must be during 9 am - 5 pm
- Weekly Group Supervision: Wednesdays from 12 pm - 1pm
- Weekly 1:1 Supervision: Recurring day/time to be determined during onboarding

Qualifications
Required Education Level: Masters Degree or higher
Education Details: Masters in Nursing
Licensure/Certification Requirements
- Must have CT-Connecticut license and DEA of the following credentials:
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
- PMHNP-BC: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
- Active DEA License in good standing
Additional Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- At least one(1) year of post-licensure experience with a solid competence in practicing Psychotherapy
- Experience working with Patients in an Outpatient setting
- Telehealth/telemedicine experience
- Psychotherapy Modality experience (CBT, DBT, etc.)

Compensation & Employment Details
Pay Range Example:
30 Min: $70
45 Min: $80
Eval: $90
Required Training: $20 (i.e. HIPAA, Relias)
Education/Meeting: $60 (i.e. Supervision)
Pay Type: Fee for Service - you will be paid based on the meetings and patient sessions conducted

Work Environment: Remote or Hybrid Option if located in the NYC Area
Work Schedule:
We collaborate with each provider to determine a mutually beneficial and sustainable schedule. Our focus is to develop a supportive schedule that meets both the needs of our patients and the providers' preferences.
Part-Time Position (Assuming 16 hours a week):
- Cumulative 16 hours a week - within our hours of operation of M-F: 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 5 pm
- Include at least 2 or more hours within your schedule to be after 5pm on a Weekday, or to have hours on the weekend.
- On-call is also not required
- If Hybrid, one day per week on-site is required and it would be the same day of the week each week (I.e. Every Monday)
- Having a consistent weekly schedule is necessary, but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week as a set recurring schedule.
- For example, your schedule could be Monday: 9am to 5pm, Tuesday: 11am to 7pm.
Your schedule will be determined with you prior to starting the role.
