How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice: 

As a Supply Planner at Paula’s Choice, you will be responsible for maintaining healthy inventory levels to support the business. Work cross-functionally across Brand, Product Development, Sourcing, Packaging, Transportation, and Warehousing to manage items from launch through the full product life cycle. As part of the Global Inventory team, you will execute buy decisions to balance inventory for finished goods. As well as managing the flow of components to our Contract Manufacturers to ensure on time production. This position also engages in PO/Data Maintenance, inventory reporting, inventory reconciliations, vendor management, and risk mitigation.

As a Supply Planner, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Action monthly buys that align with MRP signals and recommendations and maintain months of supply that support business needs.
  • Partner with Contract Manufacturers and Vendors to ensure delivery schedules and production dates support forecasted demand.
  • Proactively communicate any delay or disruption to the supply chain that poses risk to on-hand inventory that could result in a potential loss of sales.
  • Analyze monthly changes in forecast and react with agility to support chase initiatives or a need to smooth the flow of receipts
  • Work closely with New Product Development and the larger Supply Chain team to meet all deadlines on new item launches and reformulations.
  • Ensure system and data integrity across all ERP and MRP systems.
  • Perform monthly inventory reconciliations at multiple locations
  • Own the mitigation of slow moving and obsolete product
  • Ensure all production conforms to the most recent BOM version or change management.

The Details:   

Location: Fully remote within the US  

Hours: Typical business hours with flexibility required as business needs dictate  

Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting and screen time  

Travel requirements: Up to 10%

 What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably experience with Oracle products (including both Netsuite and Oracle Planning Cloud)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring quality and compliance in all processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A passion for the skincare industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
  • An eye for continuous improvement and process efficiency.

What will make you stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or related field. In the absence of a degree in these disciplines, a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain or inventory management in a multi-channel environment is required
  • Experience managing numerous Vendor, and Contract Manufacturer in a capacity constrained environment.
  • Familiarity with skincare or beauty product supply chains.
  • Prior experience or internships in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$70,000- $80,000 USD/annually

We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
