About the Position: SEO Specialist

The SEO Specialist plays a critical role in driving organic traffic and leads by increasing G-P’s search visibility and optimizing our web properties.   The position will require collaboration with marketing, martech and product teams as well as external partner resources.

You are responsible for executing all SEO activities, including keyword strategy, link building, on-page optimization, content mapping, technical optimization to increase traffic, high-quality leads for our sales teams and ultimately revenue from organic search.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who wants to make an impact and possesses the ability to get measurable results in a short amount of time. You must be thoughtful about the customer journey and understand the value that our products and services bring. You have spent some time generating leads for a business-to-business marketing team either as a consultant, at an agency or on the internal team.

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Partner with the Demand Generation teams to develop and implement the overall lead generation strategies. 
  • Drives organic lead growth thru effective SEO processes
  • Execute test runs, identify trends and gather relevant results while working on SEO strategies
  • Perform keyword and competitor research, keeping a constant pulse on opportunities to engage our audience. Work with the relevant teams to ensure that all website content is optimized for SEO and conversion, including landing pages, blog posts, and product descriptions.
  • Brings a collaborative and high-performance approach to culture within the team and across all functional areas.
  • Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies including, SEO, internal search and the impact of AI on these areas.  
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the website, and flesh out SEO strategies to improve  visibility and traffic.
  • Leverage SEO tools, including Google Analytics, SEMRush (or similar), and Google Search Console to increase website ranking on search engines 
  • Help the company gain website traffic, increase sales/leads and improve overall engagement and footfalls.
  • Comfortable presenting research and data across teams to drive adoption and evangelism for SEO efforts.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communication, media studies or another discipline
  • Proven SEO success stories that resulted in high quality lead generation with high conversion rates
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of the latest tools and industry trends that are within the scope of the SEO specialist job profile
