Responsibilities
 
Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Marketing Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will report to the Technical Marketing Manager and serve as the subject matter expert on our Marketing Cloud platform, focusing on automation, personalization, and data integration. This role is technical, but an ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and be able to work hand-in-hand on marketing activations and MarTech executions.
 
  • Serve as the primary resource for all things related to the Marketing Cloud platform, managing user accounts, permissions, roles, data extensions, automation workflows and customizing the platform’s settings to meet business needs.
  • Support the connection of Marketing Cloud to Salesforce, data warehouses and external APIs to ingest data, ensuring seamless data flow for personalized marketing communications.
  • Architect and execute marketing initiatives using tools like Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio and Automation Studio
  • Apply marketing logic to ensure the delivery of timely, relevant messages to prospects based on their behavior and preferences.
  • Optimize customer journeys using data-driven insights to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and other departments to align marketing efforts and optimize the customer journey.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of Marketing Cloud journeys and automations, making data-informed recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with marketing technology trends and best practices, implementing them to enhance our marketing strategies.
  • Train end-users on platform features and capabilities sometimes requiring the creation of training materials and documentation of best practices.  
Qualifications
 
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Cloud Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its integration with Salesforce platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in creating and managing automated marketing journeys.
  • Familiarity with SMS marketing, push notifications, content personalization, and Google Ads integration.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, SQL, Server-Side JavaScript and AMPscript for customization and troubleshooting.
