Position Available: Senior Operations Manager
Location: Remote; Sri Lanka
Hours: Full-time - 5:30am - 1:30pm, IST Colombo time

Are you an experienced operations professional with a passion for driving growth, building teams, and optimizing processes? We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to join our growing family at Elephant Teams. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping our fast-growing business by overseeing all aspects of operations, from HR and process improvement to team leadership and training.

Your main responsibilities & experience:

• Operations Management: Lead end-to-end operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of services across our growing client portfolio.
• HR Leadership: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives to build a motivated, high-performing team.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement scalable solutions that drive efficiency and improve service quality.
• Team Leadership and Training: Manage and mentor a diverse team, providing training and professional development to help them reach their potential.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and track KPIs to measure team performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure operational compliance with local labour laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with the company’s growth goals and vision.

What your profile will look like:

• Must have - strong communication skills: Fluent written and oral English skills are essential.
• Must have - minimum 5+ years of operations experience: Demonstrable experience managing operations in a BPO, offshoring, or similar environment.
• Highly desirable - HR expertise: Familiarity with HR processes, including recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Must have - team management experience: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Highly desirable - process improvement skills: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
• Preferred - systems knowledge: Familiarity with operational and project management tools like Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
