The successful candidate will work closely with our team at headquarters to support various tasks and projects.
Position Overview: We are looking for an HR Intern who is passionate about human resources and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to start their careers in HR. The intern will assist the People & Culture team in various HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process by helping new hires with paperwork and orientation.
- Help with organizing and executing employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist in updating HR databases.
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and essential job functions.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as employee recognition programs.
- Support the People & Culture team in day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Accurately enter and update data in spreadsheets, databases, and other systems.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining electronic and paper records.
- Contribute to special projects by conducting research, preparing reports, and coordinating project-related tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Eager to learn and be proactive approach to problem-solving.

General Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, flexible schedule remote.
Compensation:
Compensation at M6 varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, M6 provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
California: $16.00 to $16.00 per hour
Colorado: $15.00 to $15.00 per hour.
District of Columbia: $17.00 to $17.00 per hour.
Maryland: $15.00 to $!5.00 per hour.
New York: $16.00 to $16.00 per hour.
Washington: $17.00 to $17.00 per hour.
