Our Sales Team is looking for a true hunter to leverage their past sales experience in the BPO space in a Vice President, Sales role. We’re looking for someone who is:

What you will take on:

  • The Vice President, Sales will be accountable and responsible for developing and building new activity around new client engagement offerings
  • Identify target customers for rapid expansion of the vertical on your own initiative, from company leads, and via the company’s channel and alliance partners.  
  • Articulate the Arise outsource offering including the core crowdsourcing solution.  
  • Exceed annual sales quotas in the vertical by closing long-term, multi-year $5m -$10m contracts. 
  • Collaborate with the current team on strategy and product roadmap, as well as engage with existing customers to extend and grow relationships
  • Responsible for identifying key decision makers at each organization and facilitating strong relationships across multiple levels in order to drive revenue for the company
  • Will “hunt” and “farm” within the industry to develop and maintain relationships from the operational through the ‘C’ level
  • Take ownership of deal flow from inception of lead, development of pricing, management of contract negotiations, and implementation. 
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate key account and portfolio level pipeline and revenue forecasts to sales leadership
  • Be ambitious, assertive, and adept at navigating hurdles that present themselves in managing a deal to closure.
  • Take a strategic view of the customer’s set of business issues and consult with each on both current and future opportunities for an Arise engagement.  
  • Be a forward-thinking leader who will proactively advise Arise on new services and opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • A driver who works with purpose and passion; someone who will elevate our sales team through new perspectives, ideas, and solutions
  • Sales experience in the BPO space with demonstrated substantial success developing new business relationships with C-Level decision-makers.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in complex, consultative sales roles on large, multi-year outsourcing deals with initial contract value of $5m - $10m+.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to perform your own lead generation activities, ranging from leveraging your network to sell into, conducting cold calls and working with the marketing team to develop vertical specific marketing campaigns, vertical specific collateral, and thought leadership content.
  • Confidence and competence in constructing multi-million dollar deals from solutioning, to leading the internal Arise team through the sales process, to developing pricing and financials, and to closing the deal and navigating the process to get to signature.
  • Comfortable with understanding the Arise offering and demonstrating capability in articulating concepts like the value proposition and total cost of ownership.
  • Evidence of prior innovation and creativity in developing new product or service offerings that customers have purchased – especially if that offering was new to the company you represented.
  • Understanding and passion for a service business model rather than a product model.
  • A collaborator who recognizes the value of working with key stakeholders across the organization developing the go-to market messaging that positions Arise competitively to accelerate winning market share and profitability
  • Prior success in a hands-on role in a limited-resource start-up environment is strongly desired. Arise has processes in place but acts like a start-up in terms of pace of execution.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and ambiguity.
  • Known as a collaborative team member who works well in a cross-functional environment where multiple players are essential to closing customers.
  • Experience with work-at-home model a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments
  • Experience using Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, and Sales Navigator a plus.
  • BS Degree preferred. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
