This is a remote position.

Collections Resolution Officer

Contract type: Independent Contractor

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST (Sydney/NSW time)


Job Description:
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with customers for overdue accounts
  • Achieve minimum 70% success rate on payment arrangements
  • Handle customer communications professionally within 5-minute target timeframe
  • Process payments and maintain accurate account records
  • Manage customer complaints according to company policy
  • Provide updates to clients on collection progress
  • Work remotely while maintaining high performance standards
  • Meet quality assurance requirements consistently
  • Handle all communication with empathy and professionalism


Requirements
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication abilities
  • Experience in collections or customer service (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Professional phone manner and problem-solving mindset
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
