Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

  • Contract type: Independent Contractor

  • 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)

  • Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM Eastern time

  • Potential for expanded responsibilities as the practice grows

  • Opportunity to learn about cutting-edge telehealth practices and treatments


Responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond to high volumes of patient emails and text messages

  • Process and track laboratory orders, ensuring timely follow-up on results

  • Notify healthcare providers of received lab results promptly

  • Order medications through the patient pharmacy portal as directed

  • Maintain efficient communication workflows between patients, providers, and laboratories

  • Occasionally make phone calls to follow up on lab results or other patient-related matters

  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support the telehealth practice



Requirements
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools, including email and text messaging systems

  • Experience with healthcare-related software or willingness to learn quickly

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Understanding of medical terminology, particularly related to hormone therapy and endocrinology

  • Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

  • Comfortable working in a remote environment with minimal supervision
