Position Summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator I implements all-level clinical studies within MultiCare Health System. In this role you will develop and administer research project procedures towards meeting departmental research goals and ensuring all aspects of compliance. If you enjoy analyzing and data coordination, this role may be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

  • You will study feasibility, IRB applications, data collection forms, patient screening and enrollment, data analysis, and sponsor/IRB communications
  • You will verify investigative procedures and prepare reports
  • You will cover all aspects of compliance from Institution, Federal Drug Administration and sponsor regulations on clinical research in human subjects
  • You will partner across internal and external groups applying leadership, good judgement and effective communication skills

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree preferably in science, healthcare or other related fields required; Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree
  • Current Washington state driver’s license
  • Depending on assigned area one of the following is required: Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy (if duties include venous blood draws), Medical Assistant – Registered (if duties do not include venous blood draws)
  • Minimum one (1) year of research experience within a healthcare setting or four (4) years of experience in research industry in a research position
  • Prior experience as a research assistant or coordinator strongly preferred
  • Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $27.86 - $40.08 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
