Intern– Hardware Test System Development  – Andover, MA –  May – August 2025

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. 

Your role: 

  • The individual will support the Verification Support engineering team R&D test system development from conceptual design to fully validated test system in a regulated medical device development environment.

  • This individual will work in a cross functional team environment, consisting of verification support, test and verification, R&D, quality teams and external vendors.

  • This individual will be exposed to cross disciplinary design experience in mechanical, electrical, fabrication, software and automation.

You're the right fit if:  

  • You are pursuing an engineering, physical science, computer science – related discipline from an accredited college/university.

  • Your skills include automation (NI LabView), programing code (Phython, VBA, SQL, etc), 3D modeling (SolidWorks, etc) and electrical hardware design (PCB Schematic and Layout CAD software).

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in University with an overall cumulative GPA of 3.4/4.0 or higher. . 

  • You’re a team player, detail- and task-oriented, inquisitive, and do-it-right attitude person.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.  

How we work together 

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details  

The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 to $45.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
