Ameresco has a new opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Program Manager. We are seeking a strategic leader to serve as the primary point of contact for Enterprise accounts during project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise accounts during project implementation, fostering strong relationships and understanding their unique needs and objectives; Work closely with Sales to ensure thorough understanding of customer goals and expectations; Ensure contract compliance and proper dissemination of relevant contract requirements to project team.

  • Project Management: Collaborate with Senior Project Managers and Project Development Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution; Ensure that project schedules, budgets, and resources meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Project Development Support: Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams contributing to project scope, Utility requirements, AHJ regulations, and incentive programs; Work closely with Engineering to ensure smooth transition from development to construction, through to project closeout.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate and contribute to efforts related to permitting, interconnection, and compliance with regulatory requirements; Ensure that all projects have adhered to applicable industry standards and regulations.

  • Commissioning and Project Closeouts: Oversee the commissioning process to ensure seamless project integration and functionality; Coordinate project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and client handovers.

  • Operations and Maintenance Transition: Facilitate a smooth transition from project completion to the Operations and Maintenance team; Provide comprehensive project documentation to support ongoing maintenance efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in project management, with a focus on commercial renewable energy projects preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience overseeing project teams and managing client relationships.

  • Impeccable organization and project tracking skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proficient in project reporting, with the ability to generate clear and concise progress reports.

  • Strong ability to run and lead meetings effectively, ensuring key objectives are met.

  • In-depth knowledge of permitting, interconnection, commissioning, and project closeout processes preferred.

  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
